This book offers a range of principles, methods, techniques, and tools to provide the reader with a precise understanding of variables that improve human behaviour. The text considers physical, mechanical, physiological, psychological, and biomechanical aspects, illustrated by various key application domains, including injury prevention, human posture, and musculoskeletal disorders. The book includes three sections: 1. Biomechanics in Health, 2. Biomechanics and Balance and 3. Biomechanics and Prevention of Injuries. This book is divided into seven chapters, providing valuable tools for measuring, generating, simulating and processing biomechanics with clinical and experimental applications in medicine. Engineers, researchers, and students from biomedical engineering and health sciences, as well as industrial professionals, can benefit from this compendium of knowledge on the utilization of biomechanics as a tool for enhancing human well-being and preventing injuries.
